Description

A delicious one-pan meal featuring savory sausage, tender pasta, and a sticky honey garlic sauce that brings it all together. Perfect for a quick and satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

12 ounces Italian turkey sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
8 ounces penne pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup honey
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced turkey sausage and cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
Stir in the honey, soy sauce, and crushed red pepper flakes. Cook for 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly and become sticky.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes to reduce slightly.
Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the sticky honey garlic sauce.
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta and stir until melted and well combined.
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
