Description

A creamy, comforting slow cooker chicken recipe featuring tender chicken breasts cooked with cream cheese and flavorful seasonings for an easy and delicious meal.

Ingredients

Scale

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
8 ounces cream cheese, softened and cut into cubes
1 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of each chicken breast.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 2 minutes on each side until lightly browned. Remove from heat.
Place the seared chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
Pour the chicken broth over the chicken breasts.
Distribute the cream cheese cubes evenly over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Carefully remove the chicken breasts from the slow cooker and set aside on a serving plate.
Stir the cream cheese into the cooking liquid in the slow cooker until smooth and creamy to create the sauce.
Pour the sauce over the chicken breasts.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
