Description

A quick and healthy Lemon Tilapia recipe cooked perfectly in the air fryer. This dish features tender tilapia fillets seasoned with fresh lemon juice, garlic, and herbs for a flavorful and light meal.

Ingredients

Scale

4 tilapia fillets (about 4 ounces each), skinless
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to make the marinade.
Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels and place them in a shallow dish.
Pour the marinade over the tilapia fillets, making sure each piece is evenly coated. Let them marinate for 5 minutes.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Place the tilapia fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overlapping.
Cook the tilapia in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is opaque throughout.
Carefully remove the tilapia fillets from the air fryer and transfer to serving plates.
Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
