Description
A quick and easy deep dish style pizza made using a tortilla base, cooked to crispy perfection in the air fryer. Loaded with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and your favorite toppings, this pizza is perfect for a speedy and delicious meal.
Ingredients
2 large flour tortillas (10-inch diameter)
1/2 cup tomato pizza sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup sliced black olives
1/4 cup sliced green bell pepper
1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup diced cooked chicken breast
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
Brush one side of a tortilla with 1/2 tablespoon olive oil and place it oil-side down into a 7-inch round oven-safe dish or cake pan that fits inside your air fryer basket.
Spread half of the tomato pizza sauce evenly over the tortilla base.
Sprinkle 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
Distribute half of the sliced black olives, green bell pepper, mushrooms, and diced cooked chicken breast evenly on top of the cheese.
Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder over the toppings.
Place the second tortilla on top and brush the top side with the remaining 1/2 tablespoon olive oil.
Spread the remaining tomato pizza sauce on top of the second tortilla.
Cover with the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese and top with the remaining olives, bell pepper, mushrooms, and chicken.
Sprinkle the remaining oregano and garlic powder evenly over the top.
Place the dish carefully into the air fryer basket.
Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tortillas are golden and crispy.
Carefully remove the pizza from the air fryer and let it cool for 2 minutes before slicing and serving.
