Description
Juicy and tender air fryer chicken breasts glazed with a sweet and tangy honey mustard sauce, perfect for a quick and healthy meal.
Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 6 ounces each)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
In a small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Rub olive oil evenly over each chicken breast.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
Cook the chicken breasts in the air fryer for 14 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
While the chicken cooks, prepare the honey mustard sauce by whisking together Dijon mustard, honey, and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl until smooth.
Remove the chicken breasts from the air fryer and brush each breast generously with the honey mustard sauce.
Return the chicken to the air fryer and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes to set the glaze.
Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 3 minutes before serving.
Serve the chicken breasts drizzled with any remaining honey mustard sauce.
