Ingredients

Scale

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, fresh lime juice, brown sugar, ground allspice, dried thyme, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt. Mix well to create the jerk marinade.
Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade. Toss until all shrimp are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for 10 to 15 minutes to allow flavors to infuse.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Arrange the marinated shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping. You may need to cook in batches depending on your air fryer size.
Cook the shrimp at 400°F (200°C) for 7 to 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even crisping. The shrimp should be opaque and slightly charred at the edges.
Carefully remove the shrimp from the air fryer and transfer to a serving plate.
Serve immediately with lime wedges and your choice of side dishes.
