A quick and flavorful Air Fryer Hawaiian Shrimp recipe featuring succulent shrimp tossed in a sweet and tangy pineapple glaze, perfect for a tropical-inspired meal.
Ingredients
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup pineapple chunks, finely chopped
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon green onions, thinly sliced, for garnish
1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped, for garnish
1 lime, cut into wedges, for serving
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine pineapple chunks, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to create the Hawaiian glaze.
Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the glaze. Let marinate for 5 minutes.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Place the marinated shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 4 minutes.
Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 4 minutes or until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
Remove shrimp from the air fryer and transfer to a serving plate.
Garnish with sliced green onions and chopped cilantro.
Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
