Skillet Spicy Honey Garlic Beef Pasta

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Description

A deliciously spicy and sweet skillet pasta dish featuring tender ground beef, garlic, and a honey-infused sauce. Perfect for a quick and flavorful weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

8 ounces dried penne pasta
1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 cup beef broth
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 9-11 minutes. Drain and set aside.
While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Add the minced garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to the beef. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and beef broth.
Pour the honey garlic sauce into the skillet with the beef. Stir to combine and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce and beef mixture.
Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well incorporated.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
