A flavorful and tender crock pot beef recipe enhanced with creamy ranch dressing, perfect for an easy and delicious meal.
Ingredients
2 pounds beef chuck roast, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
1 packet (1 ounce) ranch dressing mix
1 cup beef broth
1 medium onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the beef pieces and brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Transfer the browned beef to the crock pot.
Add sliced onion and minced garlic to the crock pot, spreading evenly over the beef.
Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper over the beef and onions.
Pour beef broth over all ingredients in the crock pot.
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the beef is tender and easily shredded.
Once cooked, shred the beef with two forks and stir to combine with the sauce.
Serve hot with your choice of sides.
