A delicious and easy-to-make Pepperoni Pizza Bread featuring a soft bread base topped with marinara sauce, melted mozzarella cheese, and spicy pepperoni slices. Perfect as a snack or a party appetizer.
Ingredients
1 loaf of French bread (about 12 inches)
1 cup marinara sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
30 slices of pepperoni
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise to create two long pieces.
Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
Brush the olive oil evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
Spread the marinara sauce evenly over both halves of the bread.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce on both halves.
Arrange the pepperoni slices evenly on top of the cheese.
Sprinkle the dried oregano and garlic powder evenly over the pepperoni and cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 3 to 5 minutes.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired, then slice and serve warm.
