A quick and easy one-pan meal featuring savory Italian sausage, cheese-filled tortellini, and roasted broccoli, all baked together on a sheet pan for a delicious and hassle-free dinner.
Ingredients
12 ounces Italian sausage, casings removed
9 ounces refrigerated cheese tortellini
4 cups broccoli florets
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets, olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the broccoli is evenly coated.
Spread the broccoli in a single layer on one side of the prepared sheet pan.
Add the Italian sausage to the other side of the sheet pan, breaking it into small pieces with your fingers or a spoon.
Bake for 12 minutes.
Remove the sheet pan from the oven and add the refrigerated tortellini, spreading it evenly among the sausage and broccoli.
Toss everything gently on the pan to combine and distribute the ingredients.
Return the sheet pan to the oven and bake for an additional 13 minutes, or until the sausage is cooked through, the tortellini is tender, and the broccoli is roasted.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
Let cool for 2 minutes before serving.
