High Protein Korean BBQ Beef

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Description

A flavorful and protein-packed Korean BBQ beef recipe featuring tender marinated beef strips grilled to perfection. Perfect for a high-protein meal with authentic Korean flavors.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound lean beef sirloin, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, gochujang, rice vinegar, and black pepper. Stir thoroughly to create the marinade.
Add the thinly sliced beef sirloin to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
Preheat a grill pan or outdoor grill to medium-high heat.
Remove the beef from the marinade, letting excess drip off, and place the slices on the hot grill.
Grill the beef for about 3-4 minutes per side until cooked through and slightly charred.
Transfer the grilled beef to a serving plate. Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
Serve immediately with steamed rice or your choice of sides.
