Description
A quick and delicious garlic bread made using store-bought pizza dough, perfect as a side or snack with a crispy crust and buttery garlic flavor.
Ingredients
1 pound store-bought pizza dough
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch by 8-inch rectangle.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper.
Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
Starting from one of the longer edges, roll the dough tightly into a log shape.
Place the rolled dough seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Using a sharp knife, make 1-inch slices along the roll, cutting almost through but leaving the bottom intact to keep the roll together.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
