A deliciously soft and crispy cheesy garlic bread perfect as a snack or side dish. This recipe features a buttery garlic spread topped with melted mozzarella cheese, baked to golden perfection.
Ingredients
1 loaf French baguette, sliced in half lengthwise
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create the garlic butter spread.
Place the sliced baguette halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the garlic butter spread on both halves.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 2 minutes before slicing and serving.
