Description

These classic peanut butter cookies are soft, chewy, and packed with rich peanut butter flavor. Perfect for any occasion and easy to make with simple ingredients.

1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, granulated sugar, egg, baking soda, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until smooth and well combined.
Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
Using a fork, gently press down on each ball to create a crisscross pattern.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
