Description
A moist and tender banana bread loaf with warm vanilla and cinnamon flavors, baked to a golden brown with a slightly crisp crust.
Ingredients
3 ripe bananas
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
Add melted unsalted butter to the mashed bananas and stir to combine.
Mix in granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until well blended.
Add vanilla extract and ground cinnamon, stirring to incorporate.
In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
Slice the loaf into uniform rectangular pieces and arrange in a staggered stack on a plain white rectangular plate.
