Description

Tender pan-fried ground beef seasoned with soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes, served in crisp green cabbage leaves arranged beautifully on a white plate.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound ground beef
12 green cabbage leaves
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
3 green onions, sliced
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

Heat sesame oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add ground beef to the pan and cook, breaking it apart, until browned and cooked through, about 8 minutes.
Stir in soy sauce, green onions, and red pepper flakes; cook for an additional 2 minutes to combine flavors.
Remove from heat and allow the beef mixture to rest briefly.
Rinse cabbage leaves and pat dry.
Spoon warm beef mixture into each cabbage leaf.
