Juicy and tender baked chicken breasts with a slightly crispy ranch-seasoned crust.
Ingredients
4 chicken breasts
2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a small bowl, mix ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Brush chicken breasts with olive oil on all sides.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of each chicken breast, pressing gently to adhere.
Place chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a lightly greased baking dish.
Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
For a slightly crispier crust, broil for an additional 2 minutes, watching carefully to avoid burning.
Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
