Honey Glazed Salmon Bowl

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 1

Description

Pan-seared salmon fillet glazed with a honey soy sauce, served over jasmine rice with steamed broccoli and sliced avocado, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.

Ingredients

Salmon fillet (6 oz)
Honey (2 tbsp)
Soy sauce (2 tbsp)
Garlic (1 clove, minced)
Cooked jasmine rice (1 cup)
Steamed broccoli florets (1/2 cup)
Sliced avocado (1/4 cup)
Sesame seeds (1 tsp)
Green onions (1 tbsp, sliced)

Instructions

In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic to create the glaze.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and place the salmon fillet skin-side down.
Cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy, then flip the salmon.
Pour the honey soy glaze over the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes, spooning glaze over the top, until salmon is cooked through and shiny.
Place cooked jasmine rice in a bowl.
Arrange the glazed salmon fillet atop the rice.
Add steamed broccoli florets on one side of the bowl.
Fan sliced avocado beside the broccoli.
Sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onions over the salmon and around the bowl before serving.
