A comforting and easy one-pot meal featuring tender chicken breasts cooked with savory stuffing mix and creamy soup in a slow cooker. Perfect for a hassle-free dinner!
Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 (6 ounces) package herb seasoned stuffing mix
1 (10.5 ounces) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (10.5 ounces) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup chopped yellow onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Spray the inside of the crock pot with non-stick cooking spray.
In a medium bowl, combine the stuffing mix, chopped onion, chopped celery, garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, and melted butter until smooth.
Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot in a single layer.
Pour the soup mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
Sprinkle the stuffing mixture evenly over the top of the soup layer, covering the chicken.
Cover the crock pot with the lid and cook on low for 4 to 4 1/2 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and the stuffing is tender.
Once cooked, carefully fluff the stuffing with a fork and serve the chicken and stuffing together.
