Ingredients
4 tilapia fillets (about 6 ounces each), thawed if frozen
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray or a little butter.
Place the tilapia fillets in the prepared baking dish in a single layer.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir well to mix.
Pour the lemon butter mixture evenly over the tilapia fillets.
Bake the tilapia in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is opaque throughout.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the fillets.
Serve immediately with your choice of side dishes.
