Air Fryer Salmon from Frozen

  • Total Time: 17 minutes
  • Yield: 2 1x

Description

A quick and easy method to cook perfectly tender and flavorful salmon fillets straight from the freezer using an air fryer. No need to thaw, just season and air fry for a healthy meal in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

2 frozen salmon fillets, about 6 ounces each
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 lemon, sliced (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
While the air fryer is preheating, brush both sides of the frozen salmon fillets with olive oil.
In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
Place the seasoned frozen salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, skin side down if applicable.
Air fry the salmon at 390°F (200°C) for 12 minutes. Check for doneness; the salmon should flake easily with a fork and reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
If needed, cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fully cooked.
Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and serve immediately with lemon slices.
