A quick and easy skillet meal combining savory ground beef with tender Brussels sprouts for a wholesome dinner.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, diced
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Optional: red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add diced onion and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned.
Season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes if using.
Add Brussels sprouts to the skillet, stirring to combine.
Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes until Brussels sprouts are tender, stirring occasionally.
Adjust seasoning if needed and serve warm.
